He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Rose Buik; brothers, Robert Buik and Herbert Buik, Jr.; and sisters, Ellen Buik, Lucille Barnes, Jean Ellzey and Joan Bothner. He is survived by brother Henry Buik; sisters, Maxine Hall and Darlene Kimler; and a host of other family and friends.John was patriotic and proudly served his country in the Navy. He especially loved to travel. John was a true outdoorsman and found great pleasure in fishing. He loved to cook and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends outdoors barbequing. John will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
