John D. Burleson's Obituary
John D. Burleson passed away Sunday, September 4, 2005 at his home in Mart, Texas at the age of 79 years. A veteran of the U. S. Army and former resident of Pearland, John was employed for 26 years at Baker – Hughes Tool Co. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joe Ann and is survived by his loving family; two sons, Johnny Burleson and his wife, Debbie and Gary Burleson and his wife, Paula, all of Pearland; his mother, Pauline Burleson, of Mart; brother, Don Burleson and his wife, Rita, of Mexia; and four grandchildren, Mike, Reagan, Chad and Jamie.
The family received friends on Thursday, September 8, 2005, from 6 – 8 PM, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. Funeral services were held at 11 AM on Friday, September 9, 2005, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland with Rev. Denny Autrey officiating. Interment followed at SouthPark Cemetery.
