Rhonda & John Addison
We met John and Lisa at our church and have really enjoyed spending time with them. We loved hearing John tell stories about the dogs he had had and about different jobs he had worked at. But our favorites were stories about his childhood growing up in New York. He always made us laugh and we loved his laughter too. John was an incredibly hard worker with the best integrity we’ve ever seen. He helped us several times when we had big jobs that needed doing. One time he was up in our attic helping with some challenging work and I could hear my husband up there griping and fussing and getting very frustrated, but not John. He was always calm, always trying to figure out a way to solve the difficulty and even saying something funny about it and lightening the mental load. He was not a complainer at all though he had suffered so much with things like his ankle. He was such a joy to be around and we will miss him forever.
