Though I have not seen or talked to John in years the news hit hard.I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to his family as it is after all the ones left behind who suffer most. Knowing John though I am sure he was met as we all hope to be someday with “Welcome good and faithful servant you have served me well,job well done.” I guess we can’t really ask for more that. In all of my memories of Uncle John, I see him smiling or joking. Even when he was speaking of things that frustrated him, he was able to find the humor hidden in the situation. He was always a prominent figure in my life even when he was far away and I’ll continue to carry my memories of him with me.

John was both my brother-in-law and my friend. There have been few like him. He was someone who had a great attitude and enjoyed life. I learned a lot from him. He will definitely be missed.
