John is preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Victoria Harris, and his son, Chad Harris. Left to cherish John’s memory are his wife of 52 years, Vicki; son, Cory Harris and wife Keanti; daughter, Lynnze Martinez and husband Junior; sister, Phyllis Ellis and husband Mike; grandchildren, August, Joshua, and Alaina; and a host of many other dear family and friends.John, or “Grandad” as his family affectionately knew him, was a wonderful husband, father, and provider. His family was important to him, and John made sure they knew he would always be there for them. He always looked forward to getting together with them, and cooking barbecue for everyone. John attended Catholic schools growing up and always maintained a strong Catholic faith. In his spare time, John enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and cooking barbecue. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.Services for John will be held at Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Tx 77581) on Monday, November 28th, 2022. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 am.
