Though I had not seen John (JMac to me and many others) in many years, my memory of him seems larger than life.
He seemed to be loved and respected by all that knew him.
My life is richer for having known him.

I went to Central High School with John graduating in 1974. I was saddened to hear of the death of John as I remember him as one of the nicest boys in school. Sympathy to the family as it appears we all have lost a wonderful man.
I lost my Brother
My sons lost their Uncle John
Maegan lost her Father
Maureen lost her Husband
and many many more lost a friend, a good friend.
But just think, Heaven is gaining a great one!!

Jon was a great guy. He will be in are thoughts always. He was the greatest PWE!
John was a guy to remember.
He will be greatly missed.
I saw him in 2009 and he was so happy, and was so proud of his accomplishemnts. (As was I for him)
His wife and family will surely miss him as do I.
To say John was a wonderful man is such an understatement! My life was truly blessed by having the opportunity to work with him. The love he had for the children he worked with showed daily! I will never forget the way his face lit up everytime he talked about his family, hunting and fishing! May God bless Maureen and Megan in the days, weeks, months and years to come! John, I can’t wait to see you again…. Until I come home….
Our deepest condolences. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
We miss all of our wonderful friends we made at Crystal Lake and trust one day we will all be reunited again and rejoice in the presence of our Lord and Savior.

Maureen I am so sorry. The Miller’s have you and your family in our prayers. The poem below is one I read at my Mom’s funeral.–Jack
Farewell to a friend.
This is the place where we must sever…
You go thousands of miles.
My friend.
Once forever.
Like the floating clouds.
We drift apart…
The sunset lingers like the feelings of my heart.
