John Garlyn Rainwater's Obituary
John Garlyn Rainwater, a resident of Pearland, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the age of 47 years. Garlyn was born April 15, 1959 in Trinity, Texas to John and Sallye Lynn Carlile Rainwater. A native of Trinity, Garlyn was a former resident of Silsby and of Houston. He was a Registered Land Surveyor by trade and was of the Methodist faith.
Garlyn is survived by his wife, Carla; two sons, John Flynn, of Houston and Miles Rainwater, of Pearland; daughter, De’Lyn Rainwater, of Pearland; his mother, Lynn Rainwater, of Houston; two sisters, Gaylyn (Eddie) Payne, of Pasadena and Paige (Misty) Rainwater, of Pearland; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service remembering Garlyn’s life will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2006, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, of Pearland.
