While Mr. John Remarkable and I were co-workers, we were also friends. He and I spent a good bit of time together in St. Cloud Minnesota as well as Peekskill NY performing the first ever chemical cleaning of nuclear systems. We also worked at the same company in Gainesville, FL where we collaborated frequently on new concepts. We ran into each other occasionally over the years after we both left Gainesville but lost touch in later years. I never met his family members but I wish them well.

Kathy and family,
I am so sorry to hear of JOHN’s passing. His professional work has been a true gift to the nuclear industry and working together with him at INPO was a gift to me personally.

The true lights in his life were clearly the love of his family. Not a day passed that he did not have a story to share about you Kathy or his children. We shared many stories also as “good Catholic boys” growing up.

John was a true mentor, model and friend to me and those he helped at the stations. Farewell dear friend. Fair winds and following seas on your next adventure.
