John Lane Smedley, 61, of Houston, Texas passed away on June 7th, 2012. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on May 28th, 1951 to John and Dessie Smedley. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Murphy and husband Michael, sister Linda Smedley, mother Dessie, and grandchildren Brittany, Amber, Colburn, Scott, Crystal, Marti, and Avery. A service will be held at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home on Thursday June 14th, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.
