Johnnie Lynn Davis, Sr., 62, of North Zulch, Texas passed away Tuesday June 8, 2010. He was born March 16, 1948 in Palestine, Texas to Louise Arnold and Buster Davis. He retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad. Johnnie was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the VFW Post #8233. He is preceded in death by his sister Ruby May McClinton. He is survived by his daughter Destiny Gallion and husband Robyn, son Johnnie Davis, Jr. and wife Tracy, brothers Willie Edward Davis, Virgil Leroy Davis, Jimmie Carl Davis, and grandchildren Cole Gordon, Torilynn Davis, Carly Rose Gallion, and Timberlynn Davis.
Visitation will be held Friday June 11, 2010 from 6-8PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday June 12, 2010 at 10AM at the funeral home as well.
