Jose Guadalupe Garcia "Lupe" born on January 15, 1963, in Laredo, TX, passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 62.
Lupe was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend known for his kindness, generosity and humor. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Adolfo Garcia; his mother, Bertha Carreon; his beloved wife, Valerie Garcia; brother, Phillip Garcia; brother, Arturo Garcia; brother, Eduardo Garcia and is survived by his son, Joe Garcia; daughter, Victoria Estrada; brother, Jesse Garcia; sister, Maria Gonzalez; sister, Sara Arriaga; sister, Margarita Arriaga; his grandchildren Caleb, Isabella, Adam and Elijah and a host of many other family and friends.
He had a passion for fishing, spending time with family and was an avid Washington Commanders and Houston Astros fan. He brought joy to all those around him with his sense of humor and joyful spirit.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Clayton Funeral Home of La Porte beginning at 1:00pm. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life and share their memories.
