View Tribute Book Jose Manuel Gutierrez passed away on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, in Pearland, Texas, at the age of 56. He was born on February 28th, 1969, in Matamoros, Mexico, to Jose Maria and Maria Gutierrez. Jose leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents; wife, Martha Gutierrez; sons, Jose Manuel Gutierrez Jr and wife Karina, Rotsbel Ivan Gutierrez, and Adrian Gutierrez; brothers, Toribio Gutierrez and Jose Maria Gutierrez Jr; sister, Ana Gutierrez; grandchildren, Jailene, Jariel, Jael, Aiden, and Elijah; along with many other family and friends.Jose was a wonderful husband, father, and dedicated family man. Providing for his family was important to Jose so he loved to work. Jose was also a dedicated member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin, where he was a long-time member. When Jose wasn’t working, you could find him saltwater fishing in Galveston, searching for new fishing holes, or taking care of his cars. Above all else, Jose enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.Jose’s family will receive guests during a visitation time from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. (5530 Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581) A Funeral Mass will be held for Jose the following day, Friday, April 11th, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, beginning at 11:00 am. (110 E South St, Alvin, TX 77511) Interment will follow the service at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
