Jose Arturo Lopez's Obituary
Jose Lopez was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, on May 22, 1964, to Hipolito Lopez and Martha Lopez Sanchez. He will be remembered as a loving and compassionate father and grandfather whose warmth touched all who knew him. Jose had a deep passion for music, especially playing the guitar and singing whenever and wherever the opportunity presented itself, bringing joy to family, friends, and all those gathered around him.
Throughout his life, Jose fought a valiant battle against many challenges and adversities, and most recently faced cancer with courage and strength. He leaves behind countless unforgettable memories with his family and friends, memories that will be cherished and will help his spirit and legacy live on.
Jose is survived by his children, Erick A. Lopez, Gerardo A. Lopez, and Katherine Lopez, as well as his grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews. His laughter could fill any room he entered, and as his loved ones celebrate his life, they will remember that unforgettable laugh and let it fill the space where they gather in remembrance of a child of God who has made his journey back home.
A Memorial service to celebrate Jose’s life will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, from 11:00 am, to 1:00 pm.
