With heartfelt condolences,
Joe Bill was my high school friend, who also lived in our Heights neighborhood. My friend, Elizabeth Martinez, and I always hung with him because he was such fun and kept us laughing. He had an old blue Plymouth, which he said was a Barracuda. I wanted to have a great time with a great dancer, so I asked him to my Prom. He wore a tux, tails and a top hat. We were dancing’ fools.
I was so sorry to hear of his passing. While we hadn’t seen each other since a reunion long ago, I always thought of him...especially when I passed his house.
He was once of the greatest guys I’ve ever known. May he Rest In Peace. My condolences to his family.
I grew up on Nashua Street in Houston, and we lived next door to the Spitz family. I have so many wonderful memories of those simple times. My thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family. May he rest in peace.
Linda, sorry we couldn't be there. Sending love and heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Rest In Peace, Uncle Bill.
Uncle Bill, you were one of a kind. You helped Kim and I when we first got married and now here it is 34 years later and we have to say goodbye. Over the years we had some funny conversations, and your stories were pretty good. You help me when I got out the Army in 1990 to get to a technical school to become an industrial electrician and that has been a road traveled and now 30 years later that trade has opened so many doors for me. Thanks a lot, you will be missed by many, loved by a bunch more. - David
