Juan Cantu's Obituary
Juan Cantu passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Agapito Cantu. Left to cherish Juan’s memory are his mother, Alicia Huerta Cantu; brothers, Agapito Cantu, Humberto Cantu, Daniel Cantu, Cesar Cantu; sisters, Esthela Cantu-Gonzalez, Diana Cantu-Saldana, Ellie Cantu, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Juan was affectionately known as “Uncle J” to family and “Mr. Red” to his friends. His family and friends were the most important part of his life. He would call or text everyone with either a motivating saying, bible verse or just a simple “I love you” daily. His favorite saying was “Life is good”!
Juan lived life to the fullest! He took great pride in his work and career. He had a passion for sales but more importantly building relationships. For many years, he worked with international companies which gave him an opportunity to travel to all parts of Central and South America. He was able to experience different foods and cultures which he loved sharing with family and friends through social media.
Juan was an early riser and started his days with cooking, which he loved to do. He not only loved travelling internationally, but his favorite place to visit was Florida. He enjoyed spending time on the white sand and blue water beaches each Summer. Although he loved doing these things his number one priority was taking care of his mother, who he loved more than life. Juan will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Juan will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
