He is preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Ortiz; and sister, Maria Guadelupe Ortiz. Juan is survived by his mother, Catalina Zuniga Ortiz; his loving wife of 25 years, Maria Lourdes Lunar Arredondo Ortiz; son Alfredo Ortiz; daughter Dulce Ortiz; brothers, Able Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Martin Ortiz, Adolfo Ortiz; and Carmen Ortiz; and sisters Mercedes Ortis, Amilia Ortis, and Mary Helen Ortiz; and a host of many other family and friends.Juan was a hardworking, dedicated husband and father who loved his family very much. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Visitation for Juan will be held Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass will take place Monday, May 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 1214 Michigan St., South Houston, Texas 77587. Interment will follow at Paradise Cemetery South in Pearland, Texas.
