He was born on November 2nd, 1967 in Salamanca, Guanajuato. His mother, Virginia Zuniga, brothers: Jose Luis Zuniga, Ramon Zuniga and sisters Maria Zuniga, Maria Flores and Yolanda Zuniga. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maria Teresa Zuniga of Houston, TX, daughters: Maria Teresa Martinez, Gabriela Zuniga and Juliana Saldana, 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Growing up, Juan enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially baseball. His all-time favorite team was the Houston Astros. He also loved to paint, for many years he dedicated himself and his business to painting homes, which he loved very much. He enjoyed traveling to Mexico and experiencing new places. He also enjoyed gardening and most importantly, he loved spending quality time with his family and making BBQ for dinner. Juan will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather to his 8 grandchildren who indeed referred to him as their Papa Juan. He always made sure to provide for his beautiful family. A visitation will be held at Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W. Broadway Pearland, TX 77881) from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, with the Rosary at 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Mass service will begin at 10:00 AM at ST. Helen Catholic Church (2209 Old Alvin Rd. Pearland, TX 77581) the following day, Friday, March 8, 2024. Interment will follow immediately after the mass is over at Houston Memorial Gardens (2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
