Judith Ann Garnil's Obituary
Judith Ann Garnil passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas, on Monday, February 16th, 2026, at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Sarah Roderick, and her life-long partner, John E Sick. Left to cherish Judith’s memory are her brother, Harry Roderick and wife Mayra; cousins, Susan Schneider, Stephen Appel, Robert Feldman, and Charles Feldman; nephew, Sean Roderick; niece, Sarah Roderick; Peggy Coats; and a host of many other family and friends.
Those who knew Judith will remember her as a woman full of life, creativity, and warmth; a person whose presence could light up any room she entered. A lifelong admirer of the theater, she spent countless evenings enjoying performances. Her appreciation extended to the vibrant art of the Southwest. Music and dancing also brought Judith immense joy. Like her mother before her, Judith found peace and fulfillment in knitting, creating many sweaters and dresses for loved ones.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Judith will never forget her radiant smile, one that warmed hearts and lifted spirits wherever she went. She was a woman who truly lived with passion, and perhaps nothing defined her more than her passion for passion itself. Judith will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
