Julia Fay Ross' Obituary
Julia Faye Anthony Ross, 79, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Julia is preceded in death by her father, James Frank Anthony and mother, Tommie Eleanor; brother, Tommy Anthony; and grandson, Casey Ross. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tommy Ross, Michael Ross and wife, Tracey, Chris Ross and wife, Tammie; daughters, Peggy Shannon and husband, Wayne, Kathy Mullen and husband, Chris; brother, Robbie Anthony; sister, Cindy Kipper; grandchildren, Brian, Wayne, Kelly, Robin, Shannon, Courtney, Dustin, Hunter, Rylee; 24 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Julia was born in Monroe, Louisiana on May 28, 1941. After graduating from Milby High School in 1959, she attended Howard Payne University where she studied Elementary Education and Religion. She spent many years working in the nursery at Park Place Baptist Church, before joining New Hope Church, in Pearland, Texas. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to give a special thank you to her caretaker, Sedrick Miles for the love and excellent care that he provided while she was in hospice. The family would also like to acknowledge Compassus Hospice Care and their employees, especially, Chrissy, Shannon and Laura for their compassion and care.
Services for Julia will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 am. The funeral service is scheduled at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, in Houston Texas, on March 9, 2021, at 9:00 am.
