View Tribute Book Charles Kenneth Chandler, 85, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Turner and Christine Chandler; and grandson, Wes Chandler. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Chandler; sons, Kenny Chandler, Chris Chandler and wife, Alice, Drew Odom; daughter, Lisa Sims and husband, Moquin; brothers, Jimmy and Dutchie Chandler; sisters, Sharon Lee and Sondra Powell; grandchildren, Whitney Walker, Krystal Fletcher, Brittany Chandler, and Crysta Odom; great grandchildren, Kenley, Kline, Addison and Quinn; and a host of other family and dear friends.Kenneth was a proud veteran that served his country in the United States Navy. He was a loving husband, father and great grandfather. Kenneth was an excellent provider for his family and worked for many years as a mechanical engineer for Exxon. He had a generous heart and was always available to lend a hand to others in need. Kenneth enjoyed aviation and was an instructor, on the bases, in the Navy assisting in identifying aircrafts by sight and sound. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time on the water or out in the bay. Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.A graveside service with military honors for Kenneth will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at 12:45 pm at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
