Kenneth John Vogel, 91, passed away Sunday May 11, 2008 in Colorado. He was born May 2, 1917 in Saskatchewan, Canada to Annie and Thomas Vogel. He was a long time member of La Porte Community Church, retired from N.A.S.A., and loved to play golf. He is survived by daughter Shirley Vogel of Colorado Springs, CO, son Terry Vogel and Clarisse of Cornelius, OR, grandchildren Linda Tice and Bill, Mechelle Storeide and Geri Jan, Tina Halbert and Vince, great grandchildren Amber Vogel, Jennifer Vogel, Morgan Storeide, Remy Storeide.
Visitation will be held Friday May 16, 2008 at 6-8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday May 17, 2008 at 2 PM at La Porte Community Church.
