Laekyn Willow Etheridge-Peters' Obituary
Laekyn Willow Etheridge-Peters, 4, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. She is survived by her father, Fadhel Peters and wife, Savana; mother, Aspen Etheridge; grandparents, David and Mutia Peters, Tom and Gina Etheridge; great grandparents, Lois M. Peters, Edna Etheridge and Lupe Sciamanna; aunts and uncles, Soraya Peters, Kile Peters, Darryl Peters and wife, Evelyn, Danielle Etheridge, Taylor Etheridge, Zoe Etheridge, Brittany Phelan, Dustin Etheridge and wife, Emma, Matthew Phelan and wife, Ashely; and a host of other family and friends.
Laekyn was a precious girl that had a beautiful spirit. She enjoyed building lego houses with her daddy and playing hot wheel cars while watching Sheriff Callie on t.v. Laekyn loved helping cook with her mommy and feeding the ducks at her Nana Tia’s house. She enjoyed dancing to her favorite music, swimming and playing baseball with her cousins, and playing doctor with her Papa. At such a young age, she was already a fashion expert and was known to give make-up advice. Her greatest joy came from spending time with all of her family. Laekyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The visitation for Laekyn will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral mass will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10:00 am at the St. Helen Catholic Church with Father James Courville officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
