Laura Heguy's Obituary
Laura Jane Heguy, age 87, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Laura (Brashears) Boggess; and sister, Betty Marino. She is survived by her sons, Thomas & his wife Susan, and Douglas and his wife Linda; and grandchildren, Nicole Aiello & her husband Christopher, Jacqulin, Allyson, and Scott; and great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Christopher.
Laura was born on August 22, 1922 in Russellville, Arkansas. She was one of the earliest flight attendants before World War II and met the pilot who became her husband for twenty five years. Laura then settled down to raise her family and they became her number one priority. She was affectionately known as “Grammy” to her grandchildren. Throughout the years, Laura enjoyed the family vacation home in the Poconos where many fond memories were made. She was a wonderful cook but always took the opportunity to dine with her family. Laura will be remembered for living life to the fullest and never fearing the future.
A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
