What a nice and generous man! He was a great guitar teacher and mentor to Darrell. He would call us and we would meet for dinner in the few years before we moved away. His legacy remains.

Larry taught guitar lesson for us at The Music Factory in Pearland. We are extremely saddened to hear of his passing. He shared his musical knowledge with us and we still carry a line of the instruction books he recommend for our students. God has gained another great musician for his heavenly band. He was a good friend and will be missed. Love and prayers for his family. Steve, Diana, Stevie, Chase Townsend and the entire Music Factory teaching staff.
I talked to Larry a few weeks ago, and he told me he was in the hospital. I've been trying to check on him, but I kept getting messages that his number was not available. I just learned of his passing through the funeral home post. We are deeply saddened by his passing. Larry was a great guitar player, singer and songwriter. I had the pleasure working with Larry on several songs, and I observed his talent first hand, he wrote some great songs, but most importantly, he was a good friend. We will miss you, Larry, rest in peace.
