Lawrence Russell "Larry" Garrison's Obituary
Lawrence Russell “Larry” Garrison, a resident of Manvel, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007 in Houston at the age of 62 years. Larry was born July 3, 1944 in Portland, Oregon to the late Wilfred and Phyllis (Kinsey) Garrison.
Larry proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. He was a millwright by trade and was a foreman with Anheuser-Busch in Houston.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Garrison. He is survived by a loving family; his wife of 26 years, Vicki C. (Hawkins) Garrison; his children, Vanity Barnett, Chad Garrison, Gary, Rusty, Brian and Tim; grandson, Chase Barnett; two brothers, Mike Garrison of La Porte and Brian Garrison of Oregon; three sisters, Phyllis Kamrath and Alice Burch, both of Oregon and Janie Ring of Channelview; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service celebrating Larry’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 28, 2007, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland with John Shaw, pastor of CrossCreek Church officiating.
