Len Dell Fields' Obituary
Kansas native Len Dell Fields, 60, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020, in Houston, TX. He was born June 18, 1960 to Johnny Fields and Mary C. Fields of Arkansas. An avid golfer, Len Dell enjoyed spending his Sundays on the sunny green courses with his golf buddies. A graduate of Wichita East High School, he executed his enthusiasm for sports by his participation on the school’s basket team. Len Dell the youngest of five children, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. James Baptist Church by the late Rev. J.P. Dennis of Wichita, Kansas. A long-standing employee with FedEx, he acquired many friends and countless supporters during his tenure. Len Dell was known to greet everyone with a smile and even a joke ensuring those who met him left with a laugh. He will be sincerely missed by his family, friends, and everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his four children: Brian Fields, Everett Fields, Ralen Fields (sons), and Chloe Fields (daughter), Briana Fields (granddaughter), Alice Fields-Haynes and Fannie Beard (sisters), Leon Fields and Cleon Fields (brothers), David Haynes (brother-in-law), Rickie Beard (brother-in-law), Carla Bogan (mother of Brian Fields), Iona Holt (mother of Everett Fields), Rachael Fields (mother of Ralen & Chloe Fields) and an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
