Leonard Eugene Branch's Obituary
Leonard Eugene Branch, 81, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 15, 2016, surrounded by his loving family and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Helen Branch; loving wife of 38 years, Harriett Ruth Branch; and son, Bobby Cheney. Leonard is survived by his son, Eugene Branch and wife, Gail; daughters, LeaAnn Robertson and husband, Randy, Sharla Martinez, and husband, Ray, Sandra Mize, Elaine Cogbill and husband, Steve; sister and caregiver, Beverly Sable; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren with one on the way; one great niece and nephew; and a host of other family and friends.
Leonard had a successful career as a Manager and Distributor for Yazoo of Texas for many years. He loved all types of car racing and especially enjoyed NASCAR. Leonard always looked forward to going to the track with the Lucas family and friends to watch the Sprint cars. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and going fishing. Leonard will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation for Leonard will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
