Lester Clark's Obituary
Lester Roger Clark passed away on Monday November 16, 2020 he is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Gladys Browning Clark, son Lester Roger Clark Jr., daughter Carol Renee Clark, and brother Royce Clark. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carol Clark, daughters Andrea Ormsbee, Leslie Yarbrough and Boyd, and grandchildren, Alexis, Trent, Max, and Malorie.
Lester was a family man and loved spending time with friends and family at holidays and birthday celebrations. His grandchildren were special to him and he loved attending their sporting and school activities. Lester was very involved in his community and served 20 years on the La Porte Volunteer Fire Department. He was a man of faith and was very active in his church, La Porte Community Church. He had a deep love for Christ and his local church family.
Lester had several hobbies and interest. He was known as a fix it man and could repair just about anything. He loved sports and loved to cheer on his favorite Texas Longhorns, Houston Oilers, and Houston Texans. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling in his RV. Lester had a special love for his 23 year old Pick-Up. He loved his truck!
Lester will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A visitation will be held for Lester on Thursday November 19, 2020 6-8 PM at the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel 201 S 3rd St. LaPorte. A memorial service will be held on Friday November 20, 2020 at 11:30 AM at the LaPorte Community Church 202 S 1st St La Porte TX.
