Linda Gay Bean's Obituary
Linda Gay Bean, 75, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Lakehouse on Dixie, Pearland. She was born on November 9, 1940 in Beaumont, Texas and was adopted at birth by Nathan J. and Addi Ola Laughlin. She grew up in Hankamer, Texas and attended school in Anahuac. In 1985, Linda searched and found her birth mother and family, which includes five brothers and sisters whom she loved and cherished.
Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, David L. Bean, and three children: April Lynne Bean and her daughters Erika McInnis and Melissa Torez; David Bryan Bean; and Jeffrey Loren Bean and wife Meloney and their children, Jayme Bean, Jessica Bean Nelson, Chesane Bramble, Taylon Farley, and Kagan Deubner. She is also survived by brothers and sisters James Pylate, Linda (Elise) Ratliff, Kenneth Pylate, Cecilia Laughlin, Betty Vrana, Raymond Audilet, Clifton Audilet, George Audilet, JoAnne Mendoza, and Shirley Baker. She also leaves behind numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her father Nathan Laughlin, mother Addi Laughlin, stepmother Elizabeth (Lucille) Laughlin, birth mother Georgia Mae Schultz, siblings Brenda Blanchard, Joy Schultz and Jimmy Audilet.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Sarita Lee and the entire staff at Lakehouse on Dixie for their exceptional and tender care of Linda. Our heartfelt gratitude for the constant positive joy and dignity they provided daily.
A visitation service will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Geoffrey Land officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
