Linda Joanne Jannise's Obituary
Linda Jannise, 66, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday February 14. Linda is
preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Joanne Newton Berthelot, and a brother, Cecil
Berthelot Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 48 years, Dennis; son,
Michael Janisse and wife Bridget; daughters, Dee Jannise and wife Amy, Linda Cole and
husband Nathan; brother, Billy Berthelot; sisters, Nancy Byrum, and Mary Cavallini;
grandchildren, Jake, Cullen, Elliot, Charlott, Isaiah and Noah.
Linda was a committed Christian and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a great wife to
Dennis, and he called her his “Yellow Rose”. Linda loved her family, and they relish in the fact
she was a loving and caring mom. She always wanted everybody to be happy and content.
Linda loved to sing, and it’s been said she had the voice of an angel. She will be missed by all
who loved and knew her.
Services for Linda will be Friday, February 18 at the Underwood Baptist Church 2104 Underwood
Rd. in La Porte. Visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Service at 11:00. Interment will follow at
the La Porte Cemetery.
