Linda was a light that shined in any room or group of people around her. She had a positive energy that brought a smile to our faces even when we were feeling down, which lifted the spirit of The Summit everyday. She could make the toughest or saddest student feel happy and her sense of humor had the perfect tone to make any situation better. We love her and we will miss having that light in our quad and our school.

I knew Linda through working with her in Pasadena I.S.D. I had many phone calls and e-mails with Linda where she was so warm, witty, and helpful in anyway I needed at that time. I finally had the pleasure of meeting her last month and I wasn't disappointed. Her passion for the students she worked with was inspiring to me. I was shocked to hear about her passing, but she touched many lives and influenced many people. It's a gift to be able to connect with people as she did and I feel blessed to have known her. I will keep her family, friends, and Summit family in my prayers during this sad time.
Linda was a great educator who went above and beyond what was expected for her students. She was a model for the rest of us and who we wanted to be. The world has lost a beautiful soul. Please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Darrell and the family, may my condolences bring you comfort and may my prayers ease the pain of this loss. Linda will be missed by so many people. I will miss her friendship, her wit, her compassion for others, her love of flamingos and her pink boas.
My friend, may you rest in paradise.
The world has lost an angel today. I know that wherever you are you will light up the place, because you have the type of smile that will raise the sunshine. We will truly miss you in gods speed.
This is so tragic I'm not even too sure what to say other than the world was a happier place with Linda in it. Such a wonderful person.
Was heartbroken to hear about Linda. I had only been around her a few times and really glad she was part of our family. I know it will be hard for Darrell but, remember the Lord has his loving arms around her. I love you Darrell and if you need me, just call.
Love from
Bertha
Praying for you Darrell
