He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucindo and Rosa Gutierrez; and son, Rolando Gutierrez; siblings, Sebastion Gutierrez, Antonia Garcia, Enrique Gutierrez, Conception Araiza, Alicia Saldivar, Alfonso Gutierrez, Raquel Castro, Gilberto Gutierrez and Elva Pesina. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Rosie Gutierrez; sons, Ernesto Gutierrez and wife, Isabella, Felipe Gutierrez; daughters, Dalia Garcia and husband, Mario; Amanda Gutierrez; sister, Yolanda Guzman; grandchildren, Dolores, Jasmine, Grace, Joey, Sebastion, Angelica, Fabian, Victoria, Autrey, Amy, Gissela, Vanessa, Jessica and Alex; great grandchildren, Jonathan Jr., and Santiago; and a host of other family and dear friends. Lucindo was a devoted family man and loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with and playing games with his grandchildren. Lucindo had a beautiful smile and was and excellent dancer. He enjoyed watching football and always followed the Oilers and the Texans. Lucindo was very generous with his time and his talents and was always available to help others in need. He was affectionately known as Tio to everyone and will forever be remembered for his caring heart. Lucindo will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Lucindo will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 South 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571. The visitation will take place from 10:00 until 11:00 am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am with Brother Walter Brumley officiating. Interment will follow at La Porte Cemetery in La Porte, Texas. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.claytonfuneralhomes.com.
