I grew up with her daughter Dorothy and when her cousin Betty moved to Westlake, we saw our teens together. When Dorothy passed, I still kept up with the family through Betty.
I have always felt that she was a very caring lady and I know that her family will miss her greatly. I will remember her in my prayers.
My prayers and thoughts go our to the family of Aunt Lydia. She was one of my favorite great-aunts. I am the granddaughter of her half sister, Julia "Nannette" Leger Savoie Thibodeaux. We always enjoyed her visits coming to visit with my grandmother. I so especially recall how happy her visits made my grandmother happy. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. What a reunion in heaven it will be.
