Mae Pearl McCall's Obituary
Mae Pearl McCall, 87, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Dimple Carson; husband, Foster McCall; son, Foster “J.R.” McCall, Jr.; daughter, Regina Lynn McCall; and brothers, Isaac Carson, Jr. and George O. Carson. Mae is survived by grandchildren, Kellii Heath, Kyle Heath and wife, Kristen; great grandchildren, Kamren Heath; and a host of other family and friends.
Mae loved playing piano and was her church musician. She was a teacher in the Los Angeles ISD for many years and took great pride in educating young minds. Mae was an avid reader, enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera, The Young and the Restless, and loved her favorite ice cream. In 2013, she moved to St. Louis to be closer to her grandson, Kyle and his wife, Kristen. Mae will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A graveside service for Mae will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
