Dear Asha Aunty, Anmol and Ridhi,

I was saddened to learn about the passing away of Manmohan Uncle. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I recall him fondly from your/his annual trips to India. Always very gentle, down-to-earth, soft-spoken and gracious. And I recall making a work trip to Houston (must have been 2002), - he and you (Asha aunty) picked me up from my hotel and I spent 1-2 days with you. He/you gifted me a watch, which incidentally I yet wear, 20 years hence.

I had known Man Mohan over a period of six decades as a classmate first and as a friend afterwards and have not found anyone as unique soft spoken, friendly, straight forward and helpful individual as him. He always gave a direct answers to any question whether it was on personal, financial or family matters. We took two cruises together and his exceptional organizational skills and attention to details were evident by completion of those trips without any hitch. I have never seen him angry even though any other person would have been furious under some of the situations we were together. He will be missed as a good friend.
