She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Jack Horn; son, David Crawford; and a brother and sister. She is survived by her son, Kevin Crawford; daughters, Donna Crawford and Susan Crawford; and a host of many other family and dear friends.Margie married the love of her life, Jack, and had a wonderful life together for almost forty years. She graduated from nursing school and worked for a while as a nurse before becoming a full-time mother and housewife. Margie loved traveling, exercising, reading an enjoyable book and square dancing. She was a very practical and thrifty person that found pleasure in sewing. Margie was an “In Charge” kind of lady that always wanted to know what was going on in the world around her and could handle all of life’s challenges. She will forever be remembered for her caring, generous nature and willingness to always help others in need. Margie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.A graveside service will take place Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10:00 am at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Texas with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
