View Tribute Book Maria Guadalupe Martinez, age 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1954, in Galeana, Nuevo León, Mexico, and grew up in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maximino Martinez, her parents, David Espinoza and Florencia Oviedo de Espinoza, her sister Armandina Ostria, and her brother Federico Espinoza.On April 24, 1976, Maria married the love of her life, Maximino. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and strong family values. Maria dedicated her life to being a stay-at-home mom, raising her children with unwavering love, patience, and care. She also enjoyed selling Mary Kay products when her children were young, always bringing her signature warmth and charm to everything she did.She is lovingly survived by her children: Maximino Martinez (Sandybell), Belen Martinez, and Florencia Martinez (Hugo); her grandchildren: Ariana, Maximino, Michael, Nicholas, and Bianca; and her great-granddaughter, Olivia—each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.Maria had a deep love for gardening, and tending to her flowers and plants brought her peace and fulfillment. But her greatest joy came from being with her family. She cherished every fiesta, holiday celebration, and birthday party, especially those of her grandchildren. Whether she was playing Mexican lotería, cheering from the sidelines at baseball and softball games, or simply sharing a laugh, Maria’s presence made every moment more special.She adored catching up with her sisters over the phone and treasured visits to Mexico, especially to the places near her childhood home. These connections to her roots and her loved ones were a vital part of who she was.One of Maria’s most treasured memories was dancing the night away with her late husband, Maximino. Their love was a beautiful example of partnership and joy.As a mother, she was unwavering in her support—always present for every milestone, every challenge, and every celebration in her children’s lives.Maria was the heart of her family, and her warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she helped create
