Maria Rodriquez 86 passed away August 20, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jose Farias and Sara Rodriquez, husband; Frank Rodriquez, brother; Joseph Farias, and sisters; Rita, and Sara. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Frank Rodriquez Jr. Laura Brown and husband Jack N. Brown Jr., Joseph Rodriquez and wife Monica, Gus Rodriquez and wife Tammy, grandchildren; Jenna, Jeffery, Darian, Jack, and Jeni, and nine great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends.
Maria was known as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother lovingly called Nunu. She was the happiest when all her family were gathered, together. Maria loved to cook for her family, and they all raved about her homemade Tamales. Maria was a woman of faith. You would often find her praying with those who needed prayer. She loved going to the cemetery to visit her husband and pray. Maria was a joyful person, and you would often hear her burst out into song. Some of her favorite things to do were to go shopping and have a meal at Luby’s Cafeteria. She also loved to go the Casinos and play bingo. Maria will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
