View Tribute Book It is with great sadness that the family of Maria de Jesus (Maria) Sigala announces her passing on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the age of 77 years old. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband Manuel; her sons Jesse (Carmen) Ordaz and Jesus (Alyssa Alviar) Sigala; her beloved grandchildren Hector, Jesse, Giovanni, Evalina, and Leilani; and her great-granddaughter Isabella. She was preceded in death by her parents Roberto and Celestina Lopez, her sister Manuela Lopez and her brother-in-law Ernesto Gaitan, and her brother John Lopez, and her sister-in-law Minnie Lopez. Mary was a lover of life. She especially enjoyed watching police shows, doing "her puzzles", playing with her grandchildren, and spoiling her dog, Luna. We will miss her beautiful smile and infectious laughter.A rosary will be held on Tuesday, Jul 2 at 6:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Homes (201 South 3rd St. La Porte, Texas 77571). A Funeral Mass will be held on July 3 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, (816 Park Drive, La Porte, TX 77571.)
