View Tribute Book Marilynn Quick-Wilson passed away peacefully in Sugar Land, Texas, on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at the age of 80. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Brainard Quick, III and Suzanne (Browne) Quick, and sister, Suzanne Quick-Rains. Marilynn leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Christopher Charles Wilson, and Stephen Antony Wilson and wife Susan; brothers, Charles Brainard Quick IV, Mark Browne Quick, and Gerald Barington Quick, Sr; grandchildren, Julian and Thomas; and a host of many other family and friends.Marilynn was a source of love, wisdom, and grace. Her gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was active in her church in many capacities throughout her life, as a volunteer, secretary, and religion teacher. Her last job was Director of Religious Education at Holy Ghost Catholic Church until her retirement in 2019. Marilynn enjoyed gardening, reading all types of books, watching classic films, and listening to both classical and modern music. Marilynn especially loved to spend time with her family and her dogs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Marilynn’s family will receive guests during a visitation at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland, on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, beginning at 10:30 am. Interment will follow the service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
