Left to cherish her memory are her father Byron Hernandez; mother Alicia Villaseñor and husband, Antonio Hernandez; fiancé Christopher Santos; sons Michael Ramirez, Geovanni Santos; brother Alejandro Castellanos; sisters Dahlila Hernandez, Daniela Hernandez, Elizabeth Hernandez; grandmother Marta Medina, and a host of other family and friends.Maritza was a wonderful mother, daughter, fiancé, and friend. She loved her family dearly and shared with everyone how happy Christopher made her. Maritza was extremely close to her mother, and they seemed more like sisters because of how close they were. She was excited about and looking forward to her 29th birthday coming up this month. Maritza had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. She loved to travel whenever she could. She was a foodie, and enjoyed all types of food, especially her mother’s cooking. Maritza was very proud of her accomplishments as a daughter, mother, fiancé, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Services for Maritza will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 9:00 – 10:00 am. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens, in Pearland, Texas.
