Mark Thomas Hoelter's Obituary
Mark Thomas Hoelter, a resident of Pearland, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006 at his home, at the age of 50 years. Mark was born February 29, 1956 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Hubert Joseph and Helen Parker Hoelter. He was a former resident of Florida and of the Houston area. Mark was a loving husband and devoted father. He truly enjoyed being involved in his children’s lives.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mark is survived by a loving family; his beloved wife, Kathryn “Kitty”; his son, Matthew; daughter, Katie; two brothers, Herb Hoelter and wife, Martha, of Baltimore, MD and Peter Hoelter and wife, Sue, of North Tonawanda, NY; five sisters, Joan Castellani and husband, Larry, of Longboat, Key FL, Margaret Weber and husband, Wayne, of Ontario, Canada, Moria Saviola and husband, Dan, of Sarasota, FL, Melani Hoelter, of Baltimore, MD and Mary Beth McLaughlin, of Bradenton, FL; his step mother, Delores Hoelter, of Niagara Falls, NY; father-in-law, Edward Blackburn, of Houston, TX; three brothers-in-law, Edward Blackburn, of Thibodaux, LA, Chris Blackburn, of League City, TX and Jerry Blackburn, of Houston, TX; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM and a vigil will be offered at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9900 Stella Link Rd., in Houston, with Rev. Dana Pelotte, S.S.S. as celebrant. The rite of committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, in Pearland.
