Mark Edward Paulissen's Obituary
Mark Edward Paulissen, 66, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara Paulissen. Left to cherish his memory his loving wife of 11 years, Denise Paulissen; son, Chance Mosley and wife, Tawny; daughters, Stacey Lisabeth Paulissen, Ranise Maynard and husband, Lendon; brothers, David, Chris and Timothy Paulissen; sisters, Rebecca Fuller and Lisabeth Martinez; grandchildren, Arabelle, Cali, Cailey, Corbyn, Taj, Taygen, Amanda, Chance and Paul; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Mark was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was strong in his Catholic faith and took Francis as his confirmation name after St. Francis. Mark was a kind soul that loved to fish. He enjoyed woodworking and creating things with his hands. Mark loved animals and they always seemed drawn to his kind nature. His favorite holiday was Christmas when he got to be the family Santa Claus. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Mass for Mark will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 for immediate family at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 816 Park Dr., La Porte, Texas 77571 with Father Tony Castro officiating.
