Martha Jane Godbey, 81, of La Porte, Texas passed away February 12, 2016. She was born to Clarence B. and Bernice E. (Holtz) Worsham on October 15, 1934 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the widow of Col. Ronald Lee Godbey died March 1, 2008. Martha loved and was dearly loved by her family survivors, son Gary Lee Godbey and Linda of Azle, Texas; daughter Julie and husband Ken Engbrock of La Porte; granddaughter Leah Godbey; grandson Wesley Thompson, Madison and new great grandbaby, Evelyn Lee Thompson of Rio Rancho, NM as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Sisters Betty Snider, Mary Hoover and grandson, Christopher Lee Godbey. Services are Tuesday, February 16, at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
