The first time I saw Martin, he had pulled into our church parking lot on his Harley Davidson. It was a Sunday evening. I admired his bike, as my husband was at that time a H.D. Technician, then introduced myself and invited him in. I then introduced him to a few people in the hallway. Never dreaming he would end up married to my good friend Nicole. It seems like just yesterday.
Gone way too soon. I feel honored to have known Mr Martin. He was a proud man with a gentle and caring side that made you feel welcome. So many funny and interesting life stories we shared in that short time I spent being his nurse. We laughed often. A strong-willed gentleman that loved his family. I will truly miss him.
Ms. Raquel, I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet son.
