Sympathy and love to the family of Mary Pat. She was a remarkable, talented lady and touched our lives through her teaching, music and quilting. As I spoke with my son, Allen he said "Ok. Now she can rest in heavenly arms. She was my 1st grade teacher and started me down the path of enjoying books and I love them today. Thank you Mrs. Wells." Mary Pat called to ask me what she could do to keep Allen from disrupting the class after he finished his assignment? My answer " Give him a book". I shall miss that twinkle in her eyes.
