Melton and I have been friends since I began working at Shell Deer Park over 29 years ago. He loved his family and loved to laugh. He had a way of making people feel at ease during tense situations. I will miss our conversations and laughter.

I work at Shell and Mel was my shift foreman in the early 80's in the Sulfur Units. He was a great guy to work for and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you all. God Bless you all.
I did some work for Melton when he was at Shell. He was a nice man and very pleasant to work for. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Our Prayers go out to Libbi and all the kids and family. Melton was my friend and co worker for a lot of years and does my heart good to be able to say that. The laughs and good times will always be a great memory for me. My prayers for his families well being and in mine I have to say thanks for him being my friend. What a great guy.
