He had a quirky style and sense of humor. He was also a very proud father, and could talk forever about his son. If you understood particle physics, quantum physics, energy expenditure or any other scientific math; he would gladly have long detailed discussions with you. Mike was always learning something new. From an early age he took up guitar and other instruments. Training himself to play by ear. He always wore a smile and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Mike was always helping by tutoring others with difficult math and lending a hand to anyone who needed it when he got the chance. He loved planting and over the last few years became very theological and loved to talk to family and others about religion. If you disagreed with him, he would respect your point of view but still work to get you to see things his way. Mike was well liked by family, friends and coworkers, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.A service for Mike will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 1:30 p.m., with Father Jim Courville officiating.
