I just found this sad news about Mike today. I still can not process this pain.
When he was living in Japan we met and lived together at my parents until he returned to United States.
Mike, thank you for giving me a lot of irreplaceable memories.
Japan, Boston, NYC for weekends and Christmas Time at your parents in Houston.
You are always gentle, kind and smiling.
All of us was healed by your smile.
So sad...

I was able to closely work with Mike at AIM. After speaking with a new hire today I just learned of his passing. May God be with all his family at this time.
I've only known Michael for a little over a year, but his presence will be truly missed. He was always been very kind towards me and we would chuckle from time to time about life little messes. My condolences to his family and friends for your loss of a great person.
I was privileged to know Mike for almost a decade and the service captured his essence so well... Kindness. Mike always tried to see the good side of everything and everyone. He made the world a better place, and he will be greatly missed.
I had the joy of being with the most beautiful soul I had ever met for 15 years. I know he made everyone he met a better person because of the fact that he was a beautiful person. He made me a better person and enlightened my life. I will miss him dearly but know he will be with me until I leave this life. I love you Michael and will always cherish our time together. Rest In Peace, my beautiful friend. I cherish so many memories of our time together in Boston. You had such an amazing spirit of generosity, always there for people whether they needed a great laugh or just someone to listen. I know people often say of loss that the world is a little less bright without a loved one in it, but it really does feel that way now. We always talked of getting back together for a visit and I wish more than ever that we had. My heart hurts knowing that it won’t be possible. I will always remember your warmth, your awesome sense of humor and hearty laugh, your deep love for people and your work that brought positive changes to the lives of so many. You really were a gift and you will be incredibly missed.
Michael was a wonderful man and co-worker. You have my deepest sympathy, know that your family are in my prayers.
