Michael Hill Wailes' Obituary
Michael Hill Wailes, 57, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Billy Lee Wailes; and mother Patsye Ann Gregory. Left to cherish Michael’s memory are his former wife Norma Wailes; sons Austin Hill Wailes and wife, Alexis, Anthony Michael Wailes; daughter Anna Marie Wailes; sister Teresa Trull and husband, Paul; uncle W.R. Gregory and wife, Dee, and a host of other family and friends.
Michael was a loving, caring, and giving person who always put others before himself. He was a man of great faith that truly loved the Lord. Michael proudly served his country as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He loved being a baseball coach and mentor. Michael was a mechanic and enjoyed racing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Psalm 23:6 "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. A graveside service is scheduled at 10:15 am, on Wednesday, November 24, at the Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas.
